Kate is walking...

I am still a bit shaky, but I enjoy walking with Mommy and Daddy. I like to hold on to one finger with my right hand and suck my left thumb. This counterbalances me and helps with coordination.

Kate's 2nd Halloween

I went to a mom's party and a family party, and I went trick or treating. Daddy helped me carve his pumpkin. I liked how mushy it felt, and I didn't even try to eat the seeds. I had fun trick-or-treating at the neighbors. I stood in the doorway and told everyone how excited I was. But everyone just said, "aaaawwwwww; what a cute bug."

Kate went to a 1st B-day party today, at a pp in Davis. She made friends with the three little pigs!

Swim Lessons

Kate is taking swim lessons for toddlers 6 mo-18 mos. This is her special time with her Daddy and they are so cute to watch! Mommy loves sitting poolside, sipping a latte, watching the good times. :-)

Kate spent last Saturday in lovely Pacific Grove, cheering on her Mommy while she did the PG Triathlon for Team In Training. She was such a trooper and loved all the cheering and applause, (whether or not it had anything to do with her Mommy!) hee hee... Enjoy!

Kate Completes 1st Journey Around Sun!

Kate enjoyed birthday festivities in Montana and Carmichael, complete with party hats, cupcakes, and heaps of good times! :-) But, Mommy says this is actually Kate's 2nd birthday, for her true birth-day was one year ago today, at 6:31pm; Mommy hasn't forgotten any details of Kate's real 1st birthday! :-)

Kate participates in 1st Triathlon!

Baby Kate attends her first Triathlon! Her Daddy carried her halfway down the finish line chute running next to her exhausted and overheated Mommy! It was super exciting, but all the clapping and yelling was a little overwhelming afterall!

Auntie Christine took good care of Kate on the champagne cruise so Mommy could go for a swim! She just loves wearing her infant life-vest. Poor girlie....but she was a trooper.

Kate took her Mommy & Daddy up to Montana for a week. She loved all the sweet fresh air and beautiful scenery and had her first fresh-picked cherry! The cousins got to play together as well, and it was fun to see how careful and loving they were with her. We all wanted to stay longer...

1st 4th of July!

4th of July in Weaverville. We enjoyed good times with Kate's Aunt & Uncle and a whole bunch of cuzn'z! Kate attended her first ice-cream/pie social and first 4th of July parade. She was very hyper!
Kate held her 1st American Flag at the Ice-cream social...she was very patriotic.

That was quite a celebration...time to take a snoozer...:-)
